ABOUT MONICA
Persistence and passion describes Monica’s best approach to yoga. Her empathy shows in the way she teaches. She likes to create a safe and peaceful space while still challenging her students, reminding them about the importance of conscious breathing. Very faithful to her practice, she kept her routine active all the way through her pregnancy and went back to it soon right after the birth of her gorgeous twin boys. As a very busy mom, in yoga she finds true balance and strength. She enjoys studying anatomy and how the brain works and that’s why she always finds the time for meditation in class and shares interesting tips on alignment. A 200 hr Kripalu teacher, she truly believes that yoga is for every body and everybody. Always eager to learn, Monica continued her journey and completed the 500 hr training with Cyndi Lee in NYC. She’s also trained in Restorative yoga and certified in Yin yoga and Prenatal, and loves teaching fertility and postnatal yoga. She’s been teaching yoga and mindfulness for kids for several years as well. She teaches in Connecticut, Westchester, New York City, and overseas during the summer. |
