ABOUT SARAH
I’m from… I'm from a divided household. I spent my first 11 years of life rooted in New Rochelle and bounced back and forth between New Rochelle and Carmel, NY through the end of high school. Once I graduated high school I nurtured those New Rochelle roots and I’ve been firmly planted there ever since. My education… My education and training is consistently expanding. I have 5 certifications in Energy Healing, most recently I became a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher with dual certificates from Shamanic Reiki Worldwide as well as The Center for Health and Healing. I focus a lot of my healing work on empowering others to learn how to heal themselves. I’ve attended several educational lectures and sessions with The Ruiz Family learning about The Four Agreements and am currently in don Jose Ruiz's Eagle Knight apprenticeship program. Not only do these agreements impact my teachings but they are a framework for the life I’ve built for myself. Shamanism/Energy Training:

My backstory... My backstory stems from the same place so many other healers and educators have found themselves. Rooted in my strong desire to heal myself and light the path for others to heal themselves. My family tree has it’s branches with addiction and mental illness. When it came time for me to really focus on healing myself mind, body and soul, I knew I wanted to go the holistic route. As I gained more perspective on the links between the physical body, emotional body and the mental body, my path became clearer and clearer. I am here to help others create the life they have always dreamed of. A life fueled by love. I love yoga & meditation because… It is an opportunity to heal your mind, body and soul and is accessible to anyone and everyone. It is so much more than just the physical asana practice, yoga is a way of life. It empowers people to gain the tools to remain calm, centered and grounded in times of extreme stress. My energy healing... Is based on building a foundation of self love and empowerment. I love being an Educator because teaching people is one of the greatest gifts we can give. Inspiring others to change themselves is truly so powerful. My work style meets people where they are. It can be soft and nourishing as well as powerful and strong. I work really well with duality and guiding people to find balance. To me, it’s all about embracing everything that life has to offer. The light and the shadow, the yin and the yang, activation and integration. My passion... My passion lies deep in Mother Earth. The Matriarch of our reality. She gives us oxygen to deliver our Prana (life force energy). I love working with women from all different paths and supporting them along the journey of becoming the very best version of themselves. The discoveries they make about their minds, bodies and souls combined with the healing power of nature is one of the most rewarding experiences for me. When I’m not teaching… I am out in nature. I taught active movement in the form of snowboarding for ten years. The peaceful winter moments connecting to the mountains and the trees are precious to me. I also love rock climbing and hiking. I travel a lot and love leaving my itinerary up to the mystery. I try to immerse myself in the culture wherever I am. I’ve gone deep into Balinese ceremony with the locals, I’ve eaten croissants while strolling along The Seine and I’ve attended Shabbat services at The Western Wall. This world is so expansive and I just love every part of it. |
